Saltwater Aquarium 101 - Brain Coral
In a colony, these Brain Corals really resemble a brain, especially their grooves. Corals generally consist of two types; hard and soft. Brain Corals may look fluffy, but they are under hard corals category. Noticed that during awake or asleep, it looks the same, that's because underneath it is actually a skeleton.
