Few examples gathered from different resources to show how two sentences of the same meaning, have different impact to readers, observe:

Example 1)

• Talked to clients and figured out what would be best for their brand.
• Advised clients on both short and long term content strategy tactics while clarifying their personalized brand voice.

Example 2)

• Trained other assistants and helped with hiring.
• Hired, trained and guided a team of five assistants including a seasonal team of sales interns.

Example 3)

• In charged with ensuring customer and employee satisfaction.
• Increased the regional Customer Satisfaction Index by 4%

Example 4)

• Deal with customer complaints
• Handled 100+ phone calls a day.

Which one can get the recruiter hooked? There's no need for Shakespeare's level of English, just some effort to tailor the experience description in the resume, look up for synonyms for more action words and you're good to go. Unconsciously, it might boost your confidence as well. Just don't overdo it to the point you're lying.
